(V) Oregon Solar Energy Conference

Yusuf Arifin is a freshman at Sunset High School in the Beaverton School District. He is one of the co-founders of his school's Climate Change Club. He has been a climate activist for approximately 1.5 years now, and understands how serious the climate crisis is. As a world traveler, he has gotten to see some of the impacts of the climate crisis with his own eyes, such as species endangerment, melting glaciers, and rising sea levels. Yusuf has been working with Renew Oregon to pass comprehensive climate legislature in our state government. He has had the opportunity to talk to the Governor, give speeches at the Capitol, and talk in press conferences about the severity of the climate crisis. He will never stop fighting for this cause.
