Amy is a Carpenter by trade with 20 years in the field. She enjoyed the work but did not see many others that looked like her, so she closed her construction company and dedicated the next 12 years to workforce diversity as the Training Director at Oregon Tradeswomen where she taught diverse women and non-binary folks the skills necessary to access construction careers. She now works at Portland Community College as their Workforce Diversity and Business Outreach Manager.
